ABOUT THE EVENT
- What is the Pipeline Technology Conference Asia?
ptc Asia is the Asian edition of the Pipeline Technology Conference (ptc), the international conference and exhibition for the pipeline industry organized by the EITEP Institute. It is being developed as "Asia's Pipeline Technology Hub", a dedicated regional platform where pipeline operators, technology providers, EPCs, regulators and researchers meet to exchange practical experience and discuss solutions across the full pipeline lifecycle. The 2026 event is the 2nd edition, following the successful launch of ptc Asia in Kuala Lumpur.
- Who attends ptc Asia?
The event brings together pipeline operators, technology and service providers, EPC contractors, regulators, authorities, consultants, researchers and young professionals. For 2026 we expect more than 1,000 participants from over 30 countries, with delegations from more than 30 pipeline operators and over 30 exhibiting companies.
- What is the conference language?
English. All presentations, papers and conference materials are in English. Simultaneous translation is not provided.
- Is ptc Asia open to the public?
No. ptc Asia is a business-to-business event for professionals working in or with the pipeline industry.
PROGRAM AND CONTENT
- What does the program look like?
Day 1 (Tue, 24 Nov) is dedicated to 1-day training courses, the Advisory Committee meeting and the invitation-only ptc Meetup. Days 2 and 3 (Wed-Thu, 25-26 Nov) combine the technical conference with the exhibition. The conference opens with an Opening Ceremony, a keynote speech, a tour of the exhibition and the plenary session "Asian Pipeline Outlook", followed by parallel technical sessions, a panel discussion and closing remarks.
- Which fields of work and media does ptc Asia cover?
ptc Asia covers the entire life cycle of pipeline infrastructure. Media include bio methane, district heating and cooling, CO2, hydrogen, natural gas, oil, petrochemicals, slurry, wastewater and water. Fields of work range from automation, cathodic protection, coating, construction, corrosion, cyber security, decarbonization, digitalization and fiber optic sensing through geohazards, inline inspection, integrity management, leak detection, methane emissions, offshore technologies and rehabilitation to standards & regulations, trenchless technologies and welding.
- Is there an event app?
Yes. The ptc Asia app is the primary tool for choosing sessions, reading abstracts and papers and navigating the conference and exhibition. Details are published in the Event App section of our website.
- Will presentations and papers be published?
All conference papers are published in the official proceedings and added to the ptc open knowledge base at www.pipeline-conference.com/abstracts, which is freely accessible to the pipeline community. The presentation files will not be published.
TICKETS AND REGISTRATION
- How do I register?
Registration runs through our online ticket shop at https://www.pipeline-conference.asia/registration. Open the shop, select your ticket type and follow the registration steps.
- Is ptc Asia HRDC claimable?
Yes. ptc Asia 2026 is an HRDC claimable event for Malaysian companies. A dedicated HRDC ticket option is available in the ticket shop, covering the training course and/or the conference and exhibition including full catering. The application deadline for HRDC claims is 15 October 2026.
- Can I transfer my ticket to a colleague?
If you are not able to attend the event, you can transfer your ticket to someone else.
- Will I receive an invoice and a confirmation?
Yes. You receive a booking confirmation and an invoice by email after completing your registration. If you need a specific purchase order number or billing address on the invoice, please state this during registration.
TRAINING COURSES
- Can I attend more than one training course?
The courses run in parallel on the same day, so each participant can attend one course.
- Do I receive a certificate?
Yes, all participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course.
SPEAKERS, ABSTRACTS AND PAPERS
- Can I submit an abstract beyond the official deadline?
Yes, this is possible. But all late submissions will be placed onto a waiting list.
- I am a confirmed speaker. What are the paper requirements and my deadlines?
Please refer to your confirmation email and the information within our submissions platform https://www.xcdsystem.com/eitep/ for detailed information.
- Do speakers have to buy a ticket?
Yes. All speakers must register for a "Full-Event ticket" or a "Conference ticket". Confirmed speakers can use their personal voucher code for a EUR 100 reduction on the regular ticket price. Confirmed speakers from pipeline and network operators may attend free of charge; the relevant voucher codes are sent by separate email. Speakers from sponsoring or exhibiting companies can use their company's contingent of free tickets.
EXHIBITING AND SPONSORING
- What does a stand cost?
The exhibitor package starts at EUR 400 plus EUR 500 per m2 of stand space, from a minimum of 9 m2. It includes standard booth equipment, 1 conference ticket, unlimited exhibition tickets for you and your customers, 2 passes for stand personnel and 1 invitation to the ptc Meetup.
- What sponsorship packages are available?
We offer a range of sponsorship packages and individual sponsorship opportunities. A detailed sponsorship brochure is available on request: ptcasia@eitep.de.
- What is the difference between a conference ticket and an exhibition ticket?
A Conference ticket grants access to the conference, the exhibition and includes catering, and is also available as a Full Event ticket including a 1-day training course. A Exhibition ticket grants access to the exhibition only. Tickets and discounts allocated to sponsors and exhibitors are issued as vouchers and may be distributed to customers and prospects.
- Can I build my own stand?
Yes. A shell scheme booth is optional and individual booth construction is possible. Upgrades can be booked in the exhibitor shop.
